Broadway Photo complaint by Lance
Tried to buy a Garmin Nuvi, advertised at $308 on Internet. Got phone call hours later. Went like this:

1. Need you to confirm shipping address with Amex.

2. You really need SD card, at $56 (way too much)

3. You really need extended warranty.

4. You really need a dash mount.

After declining #2-3, he then says the unit is in Japanese, do I want the US version for $399? I wonder what he would have said if Japanese was okiay.(The SKU checked out as US in their advertisement, and Garmin doesn't list a Japanese version.) It was obvious he was not going to sell it at that price unless I bought more at inflated prices.

I cancelled the order. Then, I get an email saying credit card is charged, refund due in 48-72 hours.

These guys are con artists. I filed a complaint with NY state's attorney and BBB.
